5 REASONS TO VISIT AÑORETA GOLF IN SPRING

We want to start by saying there is not a bad time to visit the Costa del Sol and this golf course, but if there was a time of year in which it would be highly recommended to visit, it’s during the spring. This is the best time of year for many reasons but here we are going to explain some of them:

1. The golf course is in it’s best conditions

The minute that the heat hits Malaga, the grass of the golf course starts to grow rapidly, it’s in this momento when the green colour of the grass is most intense and all the floral areas of the field are in their splendour.

2. The temperatura is ideal

Although on the Costa del Sol the temperaturas are soft throughout the year, the spring, for playing golf, is the perfect moment. Temperatures will rise between 25 and 18 degrees during these months which means that one can practice this sport in short sleeves and for the most daring, in shorts.

3. Not everything is going to be golf

Apart from all of the golf courses located in this area,if some day you decide to rest, you are able to enjoy a range of possibilities such as going to the beach and taking of a springtime swim, visiting monuments of the City of Malaga, visting close by towns such as Frigiliana etc

4. Holy Week

One of the attractions now not only of Malaga but of each one of the Andalusians cities is Holy Week. In the year 2017, one can enjoy them from 10th–16th April. Besides from the important cities, we also recommend visiting the celebration in smaller municipalities in the region which have ways of celebrating Holy Week in unique ways such as live representations.

5. Gastronomy

This is not something which is only reduced to spring, any time is good to enjoy the gastronomy, the fried fish, the rice dishes, the clams, gazpacho, porra antequerana, Malagan salad etc… are some of the typical plates that you should definitely try!
